With the rapid development of transportation construction in China,the demand for super-large bridges across coastal bays and connecting islands is increasing day by day,especially in Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo,Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao and other economically developed Golden Triangle areas,as well as in Bohai Bay,Jiaozuo Bay,Zhoushan Island and other places.The original methods of erecting bridges by building trestles,platforms or by floating cranes barge transport erection,are limited by hydrogeological conditions,environmental protection and navigation areas.It cannot meet the needs of project construction.Before the construction of Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge,there was no construction equipment and technology at home and abroad that could meet the needs of transporting and erecting the girders of super-large bridges over 1000 tons.Therefore,the design of construction equipment for precasting,transporting and erecting 1500-ton integral prestressed concrete box girder with safety,high quality and high efficiency under complicated and harsh hydrometeorological conditions,is a forward-looking,innovative and significant technological breakthrough that can significantly improve the level of bridge construction,and it is also a major challenge with no precedent and high risk.Aiming at the needs of prefabrication,transport on the beam,erection of Large Tonnage Prestressed Concrete Beams on the South Bank of Hangzhou Bay Bridge,in this paper,the large-scale key equipments for box girder transportation in yard,bridge position lifting,transportation on beam and erection are studied.The overall configuration plan,design plan and operation process of the equipment are put forward.And the world's first set of 1500 ton girder erection equipment and related process methods were developed.This paper first introduces the background of the project and the strategic significance of the project to the construction of Hangzhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge.After that,the scheme comparison,design idea and concrete design are given.It includes the function,main parameters,structure layout,electrical system,hydraulic system,power system,safety system,installation and disintegration scheme and operation process.In the field of design and application of complete sets of equipments for transportation and erection of large tonnage prestressed concrete monolithic box girder.The 1600 t "wheel mounted automatic,steering flexible" tire type gantry crane,the "Super high and large span" wheel track gantry crane,the "all hydraulic load sharing,multi rigid vehicle flexible rigid connection,real-time monitoring" tire type girder transport vehicle and the bridge erecting machine with "full width erection,remote control,walking through holes and strong wind resistance" are developed.The comprehensive construction technology of transporting,lifting,transporting and erecting large tonnage prestressed concrete monolithic box girder is formulated.These equipments have been successfully used in the construction of Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge in the south shore and tidal flat area,and 404 pieces of large-scale whole-hole box girders have been transported and erected safely and efficiently.
