More and more scholars begin to pay attention to the development and utilization of renewable energy.Wind energy has become one of the research hotspots for its pollution-free and renewable characteristics.The research and development of wind power system,especially wind-turbine generator,has a broad application prospect.The structure of the dual rotor permanent magnet synchronous wind-turbine generator is similar to that of general permanent magnet synchronous generator.However,different from the traditional ones,the relative speed of its armature and permanent magnet doubled at the same wind speed.Therefore,the dual rotor permanent magnet wind-turbine generator can improve the utilization rate of wind energy.Firstly,the thesis introduces the development of wind power generation and the research status of dual rotor permanent magnet generator at home and abroad.Secondly,the equivalent magnetic circuit modeling and different winding connection modes of two types of dual rotor permanent magnet generators with different structures,namely N-N type and N-S type,are discussed.A new type of dual rotor permanent magnet synchronous generator with a hybrid rotor structure is then introduced,and also the power density expressions of dual rotor generator with slotted and unslotted stator are deduced.The internal and external rotor dimensions of the generator are designed according to design requirements.The magnetic density nephogram,back electromotive force,cogging torque of the proposed SPM-IPM dual rotor generator as well as other no-load and load performance are analyzed.Then the stator tooth width and yoke width are optimized with the objective of maximizing output power and minimizing the distortion of output voltage.The slot opening of the stator is optimized and analyzed with the objective of minimizing the cogging torque.The simulation results are verified by finite element software.Finally,the principle and method of calculating the temperature field of the generator are discussed.The temperature field of the dual rotor generator is analyzed and calculated by lumped parameter thermal network method and finite element method.The simulation of temperature field is carried out.
