Shipborne Guns,as a traditional shipborne weapon,has the advantages that other shipborne weapons do not have,such as high firing speed,fast response,large loading capacity,small interception limit,high combat efficiency and cost ratio.Among them,small and medium caliber shipborne guns is mainly used to deal with air and sea penetration,as well as to attack close-range sea targets.Large caliber shipborme guns is mainly used to support suface fire and bombard long-range targets on shore.At the present stage,with the increasing of China's maritime forces,the role of Shipborne guns in the attack and defense of naval battles is becoming increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is of great significance to increase the investment in military warship training and improve the training effectiveness for enhancing the combat capability at sea.With China's attention to marine rights and the development of ship simulation technology domestic and overseas,the full application of ship operation simulator in the military field is realized,so that the formation confrontation tactical training can be conducted in-house by the navy,so as to speed up the training of naval personnel and skills,and shipborne guns simulation emerges require as the times.Simulated training is the product of the integration of computer technology and simulation technology,and has become an important training means in the military field.According to the requirements of naval vessels for guns system,a real shipborne guns being simulation trained not only reduces the training cost,but also provides greater security.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)Hardware-in-the-loop simulation of Shipborne Guns.By combining the real barrel model with the virtual viewpoint in the visual system,the angle measurement equipment is bound to the real barrel model and the angle data of the barrel are extracted.Then the movement of the virtual barrel on the computer screen is controlled according to the real barrel model's real-time angle change.(2)According to the mathematical model of external trajectory,the curve of external trajectory can be quickly solved and the data can be three-dimensional visualized.The accuracy of external ballistic curve is the key point of Shipborne Guns simulation.In the real ocean environment,the trajectory of the projectile is not a simple parabola because it is affected by many external forces,including wind,humidity,temperature,projectile shape coefficient and so on.In addition,the mathematical model of external trajectory is relatively complex and the calculation process is relatively cumbersome,so the method of calculation will have a great impact on the real-time of the system.In this paper,the influence of various factors on trajectory is considered from many aspects,and various influencing factors are parameterized into the external trajectory mathematical model,and a more appropriate method is used to quickly calculate the curve,which can not only improve the calculating speed,but also ensure the accuracy of the curve.(3)Collision detection between projectile and target.The projectile in flight has the characteristics of fast-moving speed and many discrete points on the trajectory curve,so it is necessary to detect the collision between three-dimensional objects frequently and quickly.Single collision detection algorithm is difficult to ensure efficiency in large-scale three-dimensional scene,so collision detection algorithm needs to be combined and accelerated.In this paper,different collision detection methods are adopted according to different guns targets to achieve the purpose of accelerating collision detection.Accelerated collision detection has basically met the real-time requirements.(4)Particle effects such as flame and smoke.Lifelike particle effect is an important means to enhance the reality of simulation.Whether the projectile hits the target or not is reflected by the flame and smoke at the point of impact.In this paper,particle system library is used to constructed particle effects,and combine with a variety of primitives to enhance the authenticity of flame,smoke and other effects while guaranteeing the frame rate.In this paper,a three-dimensional ocean scene is built based on OSG open source engine.The turret rotation is simulated by the angle data acquired by the peripheral IMU.The flight curve of the projectile is calculated and simulated in real time according to the external ballistic mathematical model.The real-time collision detection between the projectile and the target is realized by using collision detection technology and optimization of its algorithm.Particle effect is used to simulate the flame explosion.The simulation of Shipborne guns unit in ship simulation training system is completed through the above aspects.
