As a high-power,small-volume power unit,gas turbines are widely used in many industrial fields such as aviation and ships.How to control the generation of pollutants in the combustion process while improving the combustion efficiency of gas turbines is one of the hot issues in the research field of gas turbines.In this paper,the soot generation and emission rules of gas turbine combustor are taken as research topics,and the research on the generation and emission of soot in annular combustion chamber is carried out.The main research results are as follows:Firstly,the gas turbine CF6-80 annular combustion chamber is used as the reference model.The structure of main components of the combustor such as cyclone,diffuser and flame tube is designed and its main parameters are calculated.The numerical simulation proves that the aerodynamic law and combustion characteristics of the prototype combustion chamber designed in this paper can meet the requirements.Then,the mathematical model is established according to the prototype combustion chamber designed in this paper.Select the Realizable k-? turbulence model to simulate turbulent flow in the FLUENT solver;The Lagrange random orbital model is used to simulate the random motion of fuel particles;The PDF non-premixed combustion model is used to simulate the rate of combustion chemical reaction;Within the solution process,The SIMPLE algorithm and the second-order upwind style is used.Finally,the numerical simulation research is carried out according to the prototype combustion chamber designed and the mathematical model established by this paper.Different soot models,different power levels and different fuels on soot generation and emissions are used for comparative analysis.The results show that the soot generation and emission simulation results are more accurate when using the one-step soot model;As the power level decreases,the fuel and the swirling air are more fully mixed,and the amount of soot produced is significantly reduced;The carbon-to-hydrogen ratio of the fuel affects the soot production tendency,and the fuel with high carbon-to-hydrogen ratio produces a larger amount of soot.Through what has been discussed above,this paper has carried out an in-depth theoretical analysis on the generation and emission rules of gas turbine soot.Numerical simulation research on gas turbine annular combustion chamber and the generation and emission rules of gas turbine soot has achieved.It provides ideas for further research on high efficiency and low emission gas turbines.
