| This project is a cooperation between Dalian Maritime University and Tianjin Pumps&Machinery Group Co.,Ltd.,which aims to design a labyrinth screw pump for conveying high-temperature aluminum alloy liquid to cast automobile wheels,and improve the ordinary low-pressure casting used for a company to cast automobile hub.1.The design of the model machine of labyrinth screw pump.Calculated the important parameters such as the diameter,groove depth,clearance,pitch,lead and tooth angle of the pump,and designed the pump body mechanism which can meet the performance index of this paper.2.CFD numerical simulation of the labyrinth screw pump flow field.Using SolidWorks to found the 3D model of labyrinth screw pump,the flow field can be simplified according to its own characteristic,then meshing the flow filed by the latest structural grid division method in the soft of the ICEM.Selected the RNG turbulence and the calculation of SIMPLEC in the Fluent and to simulation the labyrinth screw pump flow field.Through the simulation results,the pressure generated by the labyrinth screw pump increases linearly from the inlet to the outlet.It is consistent with the working principle of the labyrinth screw pump proposed by the s Golubiev AI.It proves that the method of the CFD can be used to qualitatively predict the performance of the labyrinth screw pump and parameters it’s structure.3.The Influence of important parameters of labyrinth screw pump.The method of CFD is used to study the important parameters such as the lead,clearance and assembly mode of the labyrinth screw pump to improve the performance of the pump.The labyrinth screw pump can increase the pumping pressure by reducing the clearance within a reasonable range;The generated by the triangular thread can generate the largest pressure;the lead of the labyrinth screw pump is inversely proportional to the pumping pressure;the different assembly modes of the stator and rotor are generated.The pumping pressure is also different.4.Experimental verification of the labyrinth screw pump.set up a special test bench to test the performs of the labyrinth screw pump process.Verify that the design requirements are met or not by analyzing these data.The experimental results show that the designed pump basically meets the requirements of pressure and flow rate.It can lay the foundation for design of the labyrinth screw pump by these. |
