As a typical energy-efficient product,Switched Relutance Motor(SRM)has a series of excellent features and has been successfully applied in many industries.However,its inherent double salient pole structure and pulsed power supply mode caused large torque ripple during operation,especially at low speeds,which greatly hindered the further promotion and application of SRM.Therefore,in order to reduce the torque ripple,this paper analyzed the torque ripple reduction strategy of SRM.The main research work is:Firstly this paper described the research status of SRM torque ripple suppression at home and abroad,considering the difficulty degree and control effect of the control algorithm,this paper determined the use of indirect torque control.Furthermore based on the traditional indirect torque,an improved indirect torque control strategy was proposed.The torque distribution function was improved to enhance the comprehensive performance of SRM,and a current controller based on Lyapunov theory was designed to achieve accurate tracking of the current,thereby reducing torque ripple.Secondly,based on the measured electromagnetic properties of the prototype,the SRM nonlinear model was built.Then the simulation model of the improved indirect torque control system was built in the Matlab/Simulink environment.Besides,in order to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy,the simulations results were compared with traditional indirect torque control from four aspects:current tracking effect,torque ripple suppression effect,operating efficiency and dynamic stability.Finally,a 1.5KW three-phase 12/8-pole SRM control system experimental platform was built to test the improved indirect torque control system,and the experiment was compared with the traditional indirect torque control under the same conditions.The experimental results show that the control strategy proposed in this paper not only reduces the torque ripple effectively but also improves the operating efficiency of the motor,which proves the effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm.
