Development Of Simulation And Maintenance Training System For Coal Mill Based On VR Technology

Coal mill is an important energy supply auxiliary machine for thermal power plants,its structure is more complicated,and there are long time and diffcult training processes.It brings great inconvenience to the training of maintenance and repair personnel.With the maturity of VR technology,a lot of dangerous and complicated training work combined with the VR technology to realize the development of virtual simulation teaching training system.under the circumstance,we propose the topic of “Development of simulation and maintenancetraining system for Coal mill based on VR technology”.This project uses Solidworks,Cinema 4D,Unity3 D software platform and C# language as development tools,mainly to complete the following work:(1)Constructing a framework for the simulation maintenance and training system of the coal mill;(2)Studying the coal mill's overall structure,working principle and maintenance and repair processes;(3)Completing the 3D model,virtual simulation optimization process,and disassembly,maintenance and repair animation of the equipment;(4)Researching and completing the technology keys of virtual simulation training system(Such as virtual scene environment's construction,virtual roaming,perspective conversion,component highlighting,mouse hovering,picture-in-picture,automatic or interactive disassembly,sound effects,particle effects,sequential trigger response,timing and scoring,score report,and so on.);(5)Using programming and interface design,integrated development of the coal mill maintenance training system with “teaching,training,examination”.In general,the research and system development of this subject have a good role in verifying the popularization and application of VR technology,it has played an important role in promoting the maintenance and training of coal mills in thermal power plants,and it has a good exploration and reference for the equipment maintenance and training of 3D visualization.
