Permeable asphalt pavement can make rainwater infiltrate directly and replenish groundwater,which has good ecological benefits,as well as advantages of drainage,noise reduction and anti-sliding.Compared with the traditional permeable asphalt pavement using hot mix asphalt mixture,the normal temperature permeable asphalt mixture does not need to be produced and constructed at high temperature,It is not only applicable to a variety of climates and environments,but also can reduce pollution and save energy.The liquid asphalt at normal temperature was used as the binder of the permeable asphalt pavement,and the reactive solvent was used to liquefy the asphalt.The active inorganic powder was employed to solidify the liquid asphalt at normal temperature,and the basic properties were studied.On this basis,the normal temperature permeable asphalt mixture was systematically tested and evaluated.The main contents include:(1)Brookfield viscosity was determined as the evaluation index,the optimum blending ratio of liquid asphalt at normal temperature was determined by orthogonal test,3%SBS modified asphalt:thinner:waterborne epoxy resin:petroleum resin=100:30:20:10.The amount of curing agent was determined to be 6%by three major indexes test.At this time,the penetration degree at 25oC was 44 mm,the softening point was 80?,and the 15?elongation was 18cm.The dynamic viscosity at 60? is 86450Pa·s.The PG grade was PG82-28 determined by DSR test and BBR test.The high temperature performance of the modified asphalt significantly increased,the low temperature performance basic did not change.At the same time,the mutual solubility of 90#asphalt,thinner and modifier have good mutual solubility,and the reaction between normal temperature liquid asphalt and curing agent was relatively complete.(2)The target void ratio of this paper was set as 21%,Marshall test was conducted on drainage pavement of Japan,OGFC of Georgia and PEM of Georgia.Georgia 12.5mmOGFC with the best stability was selected as the optimal gradation.The gradation B,which is closest to the target void ratio,was selected as the final gradation,and the optimum asphalt dosage was determined to be 6.5%by the leak test and the scattering test.(3)The performance of the normal temperature permeable asphalt mixture is good.In the cohesive test,the loss rate was 5.1%,the initial stability was about 2.78 kN,the molding stability was 9.64 kN,the connected void ratio was 15.8%,and the water permeability was good.The residual stability of water immersion was 85.5%,the splitting strength ratio after freezing and thawing cycle was 80.6%,and the low temperature bending strain was greater than 2500??,which is higher than the specification.The dynamic stability was 2839 times/mm,which is suitable for general traffic pavement.The sanding method has a structural depth of 1.59mm,with good slip resistance and good storage stability.(4)Based on laboratory test and technical specification of permeable asphalt pavement,the production and construction technology of permeable asphalt mixture at normal temperature are put forward.Through economic cost analysis,the normal temperature permeable asphalt has obvious economic advantages and social benefits was well,with a good market application prospect.
