Aiming at the common vibration problems of mechanical equipment,an active damping device was researched in this study that could realize active control.The active damping device was applied to the vibration control of a faulty rotor system,the chatter control of a machine tool,and the forced vibration of a complex pipeline.Furthermore,the controlled damping effect was experimentally studied.Based on the common pipeline vibration problem of petrochemical enterprises,the damping suppression technology was applied to study its vibration suppression effect.This study can be enumerated as follows:(1)The properties of an active damping device were researched.Moreover,its inertial actuator principle and direct velocity feedback principle were analyzed to explain its vibration suppression principle.Besides,the characteristic of the device was introduced.(2)The active damping device was explored to suppress the vibration of the faulty rotor.The Jeffcott rotor vibration test bench was built to simulate the unbalance and misalignment faults of the rotor.The active damping device was installed on the bearing house.The suppression law of the rotor vibration and bearing house vibration of the rotor system was studied experimentally.Experiment results showed that the rotor critical vibration can be well suppressed by the active damping device,and the maximum vibration reduction can reach 54%in the vibration suppression experiment of the misaligned rotor.(3)Furthermore,the active damping device was studied to suppress machine chatter.The computed numerical controller(CNC)machine tool vibration test bench,the surface grinder vibration test bench,and the bench drill vibration test bench were set up.Then the active damping device was installed at the position of vibration sources of the machine tool,that is,the spindle box of the numerically controlled machine tool,the grinding head of the surface grinder,and the drill bit of the bench drill.The vibration suppression law of the active damping device for CNC machine tools,surface grinders,and bench drills was studied experimentally.Furthermore,and the influences of surface roughness and machining accuracy on the machining of parts were also analyzed.(4)The active damping device to suppress pipe vibration was explored.A complex pipeline forced vibration test bench was constructed,and the active damping device was installed at different positions of the pipeline model.Furthermore,the suppression law of the active damping device on the pipeline vibration was analyzed through simulation and experiment.The simulations and experiments results showed that the installation direction of the active damping device play the most important role.(5)The practical application of damping technology on pipelines was explored.Considering the export pipeline of hydrogenation fractionation tower of a petrochemical enterprise as an example,the causes of pipeline vibration were analyzed,the vibration reduction retrofit scheme was designed,and the damping technology was applied to the actual pipeline to solve the pipeline vibration problem.The problem of on-site pipe vibration was successfully solved by installation of the damper without stopping the machine. |
