In civil aviation flight training in China,Seminole aircraft is one of the main teaching aircraft types,which is used for multi engine flight training,with a large number of uses and flight sorties.Electrical power system is an important part of the aircraft system,which provides electrical power for all electrical equipment on the aircraft.Once there is a fault,it will seriously affect the flight safety.In this paper,the electrical power system of Seminole aircraft is taken as the research object,the reliability analysis of the electrical power system of the aircraft is carried out by using the fault statistical data in actual use,the failure mode,rule and reason are found out,the improvement suggestions and measures are put forward,which provides reference for the design,maintenance and repair of similar general aircraft.First of all,the required fault data are found out and the function parameters of the reliability of the electrical power system of Seminole aircraft are obtained by using the method of distribution type hypothesis testing,and the failure rate curve and reliability curve are obtained through analysis,so as to find out the changing law of the working state of the electrical power system of Seminole aircraft with time,which provides a reference for making a reasonable maintenance plan.Then the fault tree analysis(FTA)of the electrical power system can get the importance of each minimal cut set leading to the failure of the electrical power system.When the electrical power system works to the fixed inspection time,the corresponding components to the minimal cut set with large importance need to be checked first,which can effectively reduce the failure caused by these weak links.Finally,based on the fault tree analysis(FTA),the fuzzy failure modes effect and criticality analysis(FMECA)of the electrical power system is carried out.First,the failure modes effect analysis(FMEA)is carried out,the influence of the failure mode is obtained,and the corresponding maintenance and improvement methods are proposed.Then,criticality analysis(CA)of each failure mode of Seminole aircraft electrical power system was carried out by combining fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and risk priority number method so as to obtain the risk of each failure mode,and sorts the risk value of each failure mode.When the electrical power system design needs to be improved,the failure mode with high risk value should be given priority to deal with.Thus,the probability of electrical power system failure is reduced fundamentally,the time between maintenance is prolonged,the risk of electrical power system failure is reduced,and the reliability of power system can be improved.
