Since 2010,China's car ownership has maintained a rapid growth.As of June2019,China's car ownership has reached 250 million,and large amounts of fossil energy consumption have brought tremendous pressure on the environment.Driven by the policies of various countries,focusing on energy saving and environmental protection in automobile production has become the mainstream of development,and lightweighting of vehicles has become the mission of manufacturers' technological change.Aluminum alloys are widely used in automobile production due to their low density,light weight,high specific strength,good processability,low recycling costs,and environmental protection and energy saving.In recent years,the use of aluminum alloy bodies in high-end passenger cars has reached 90%,and the maintenance of aluminum alloy bodies has become a new focus.After the aluminum alloy sheet is shaped and spray-baked,it will produce thermal hardening and strengthen,and the machining performance is poor after collision deformation.Foreign countries often use aluminum alloy adhesive and riveting to repair after shaping.In terms of aluminum alloy body repair in China,subject to restrictions on the supply of special aluminum alloy adhesives from foreign countries,most repair shops use the replacement of the entire plate to repair.Causes high maintenance costs,thin profits,and large waste.Based on the above reasons,through the study of aluminum alloy sheet materials for automobile bodies,a simple,applicable and economical aluminum alloy body repair process is explored to solve the problems existing in body maintenance.The types,basic components,and mechanical properties and characteristics of aluminum alloys are analyzed.By comparing the traditional mechanical repair and welding repair of automotive aluminum alloy sheets,we seek out a shape index and strength index that can satisfy the body repair in actual production And economic indicators,and simple and applicable repair process.The experimental comparison method is used to find the anti-destructive ability of spot-plug welded aluminum alloy plate under the action of external force,and the optimum scheme of spot-plug welding process parameters is clarified.Qualified appearance solder joints were selected for metallographic observation,and it was found that the physical properties of the aluminum alloy in the local hot melt state and its application value in production.In the test,based on the aluminum alloy 6016 commonly used in German car bodies,the plate welding test was performed(TIG spot plug welding process for thin aluminum alloy).The test data show that during the test of the aluminum alloy plate for automobile body,the construction operation according to the proposed TIG spot plug welding process of aluminum alloy can meet the shape index,strength index and economic index of the plate.The equipment used for welding is simple,few tools,low cost,easy to buy,and auto repair shops can meet the requirements.The application of this process can not only reduce maintenance costs,but also save resources and improve maintenance efficiency.It can provide a test basis for the repair of aluminum alloy automobile body and provide a reference for the repair of aluminum alloy body parts in the automotive aftermarket.
