Platform Packaging Design Research

Nowadays,with the development of e-commerce and smart city,people's shopping and lifestyle have undergone great changes.The original packaging industry chain has reached a bottleneck before emphasizing the design requirements of intelligent and green "zero packaging".The traditional packaging for the purpose of showing the added value of packaging shelf has been unable to meet the demand of various forms of commodity sales,or has lost the core value of packaging.Packaging,as a subsidiary product of service goods,also needs to change its form and content.Meanwhile,the packaging industry has seen a transformational development,and intelligent packaging and intelligent packaging have become one of the main trends of the future development of society and packaging industry.Based on the objective reality of social development,the concept of platform packaging is detailed.Through the combination of relevant cases and literature,this paper studies the content design of platform packaging and summarizes its design methods.Platform packaging as a representative packaging form for packaging body and packaging non-material display.Due to the development of third-party technology,it has passed through four stages:germination,formation,maturity and fission.Its body design mainly includes material selection,structural reduction design and symbolic design of the drive form;The drive forms are divided into chip drive,sensor drive,identification code drive,graphic symbol drive and other types;Non-material design mainly includes packaging+audio,packaging+video(animation),packaging+interaction,packaging+shopping and other means of integration design,this form willbecome the best solution for e-commerce packaging and new retail packaging.
