The construction of the train ferry port is an important component of the construction of an integrated transportation system, and plays a decisive role in achieving the "last mile" of sea-rail combined transportation. At present, there is little research on the selection of train ferry ports, and it is still in its infancy. This paper determines the candidate points based on the evaluation theory, and conducts economic analysis on the candidate points to determine the most preferred site, thereby solving the problem of train ferry port location.Firstly,in order to evaluate the technical conditions for port construction,a comprehensive evaluation index system for alternative points of railway ferry, ports was constructed and the alternative points were determined using evidence reasoning. This paper builds an evaluation index system for the selection of alternative points based on the port location theory and the attributes of the port station, and uses evidence reasoning to determine the alternative points. In order to avoid the strong subjectivity of the evidence reasoning method in determining the weights, the information entropy method is introduced to determine the index weights, and the objectivity of the evaluation of the construction site of the train ferry port station is further improved to realize the feasibility evaluation of the proposed construction site. This process can avoid the strong subjectivity of index weighting, and can effectively integrate the evaluation values of multi-attribute information, thus greatly enhancing the objectivity and operability of multi-faceted comprehensive evaluation of the construction site of the train ferry port station.Secondly, because economy is a major factor in site selection,on the basis of determining alternative points,a cost present value model is introduced to perform economic analysis on several alternative points to determine the optimal site.In order to ensure the high applicability of the economic model for the location selection of traffic yards and stations, this paper expands the cost present value model for measuring economic utility, organically connects it with the evaluation method, and then selects it from the perspective of project engineering economic utility Site decision provides a strong basis. Finally, taking the location of the train ferry port station on both sides of the Taiwan Strait as an example, the model was verified to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method. The analysis results show that the proposed method can effectively trace the advantages and disadvantages of the indicators of the location conditions of the candidate points, and can measure the economic utility of the construction and operating costs of the program. In addition, the case analysis also shows that although the sea transportation distance affects the cost of site selection,it is not a decisive factor. In the site selection, both sides and cooperation intentions may affect the final decision result.
