The short-haulage container transportation by truck in a certain area before or after the long-distance ocean or railway transportation is usually called drayage transportation.Although the transport distance of drayage is short,the cost per TEU per kilometer is relatively high.Meanwhile,the operation scale' of China's container truck fleet is generally small,so the transport capacity is weak.Due to the import and export tasks carried by each fleet are not balanced,a large number of trucks can only achieve single-load transportation,resulting in a serious phenomenon of empty driving.In addition,when the truck fleet organizes transportation vehicles,it often encounters a situation where the freight demand and capacity resources are not coordinated.When the transportation of a single logistics fleet is busy,the lack of capacity resources causes the customer to wait too long,when the transportation is idle,the capacity resources are idle and the resource allocation is unreasonable,which further affects the efficiency of container drayage transportation.In the context of the sharing economy,an effective way is provided to solve this problem by sharing some logistic resources through multi-truck fleet cooperating.So this paper studies the optimization of container drayage scheduling under multi-truck fleet sharing mode to support its application.First of all,this paper develops a container drayage tasks allocation model considering trucks sharing with the goal of maximizing the total profit of container truck fleet.A number of factors are taken into account,such as the deadline of import and export tasks,the size of the truck fleet,the time window of the customer's nodes.The model is to decrease the empty driving distance of trucks by optimizing the import and export tasks assigned to the fleet.Then,a heuristic algorithm based on the shortest path algorithm to initialize the population is designed to solve the model.Example analysis is carried out to verify the effects of different scenarios on fleet's profit.The experiment results indicate that the developed model can increase the profitability and improve the efficiency of the container drayage transportation.Secondly,in the mode of multi-truck fleet sharing resources,a model of the path planning for container trucks based on determined-activity-on-vertex-graph(DAOV)is developed,considering the return of empty containers,and the problem is decomposed into a full container sub-problem and an empty container sub-problem.Then,a heuristic algorithm based on the greedy algorithm is designed to solve the model.The experiment results indicate that container drayage transportation can be carried out more efficiently under the multi-truck fleet's cooperation,which also provides new ideas for container terminals to improve operating efficiency and overall service levels.
