Defective shunting of track circuit is one of the long-term safety issue of train operation,and it has been listed as a world-class problem in the train transportation fields.The train occupancy track sections,when the track occurs defective shunting,the track relay cannot fall as normal,resulting in the indicator of train occupancy lost,which has great risk factor,which also may lead to unimaginable consequences.To give an alarm in time when train occupancy is lost,which can remind the staff to deal with the fault immediately and ensure the safety of the train operation.After the occurrence of a 7.23 incident on the Wenyong Line,the original Ministry of Railways documents required that there should be a timely alarm when the occurrence of defective shunting.After years of continuous research,there are two mainstream alarm systems that have been completed and gradually put into operation on major railway lines.They are the logic check alarm system for relay train occupancy loss and the CTC system occupancy loss alarm module.The working principle and implementation effect of the alarm system are different.This article made a detailed introduction to these two alarm systems and made a comparative analysis.According to the different states of the relay in various scenarios,the logic check and alarm system for relay train occupancy loss identifies whether the occupancy loss occurred during the train travel process by improving the relay circuit and the alarm circuit,and then realizes the alarm purpose through the alarm circuit.The train occupancy loss alarm module of the CTC system is based on the CTC dispatching centralized command system and adds alarm module.When the red-light belt of the train is not continuously occupied and when the train is traveling in the section,if forward adjacent block track circuit section has not been occupied within 15 seconds,it is determined that the train has occupancy loss while traveling.This article compared the two methods systematically and concluded that the relay alarm system is more advantageous.Finally,this article introduced the transformation project from Caofeidian North Station to Caofeidian West Station in the Datong signal and communication district,putted it into operation,and verified the practicability of the alarm system.
