Glass-sealed relays have many excellent properties compared to other types of sealed relays,such as mechanical strength,sealing,insulation resistance and dielectric withstand voltage.They are widely used in electronic devices and highly reliable aerospace relays used in high-voltage,high-stress and high-temperature applications.With the development of technology,the requirements for sealed relays are getting higher and higher.In the field of aerospace military industry,it is not only more demanding,but also has a wider range of applications,especially in low leakage rates.In order to keep up with the development of technology,meet the wide-ranging demand for aerospace military products,and short the gap with the advanced level of foreign countries,there are `more and more researches on the production process of glass sealed relays in China at present.The mainly study is the glass-metal sealing in this paper.The aim is to improve the curing preparation of glass insulators,high temperature vitrification and pre-oxidation of metal parts,so as to improve the tightness of relays and ensure the consistency of sealing.In this paper,the effects of glass insulator mold on the density of the powder and the color of the glass insulator were reported under different pressure molding.It was observed about the bubble,shrinkage,strength and electrical properties after sintering.According to thermal specific gravity analysis,it was found the influence of glass transition temperature on the glass insulator by using different glass transition temperatures to vitrify Glass insulators.It had been observed that the length of the oxidation time of the base plate was related to the thickness of the oxide layer,the problem of bubble generation after sintering in the base group,and the sealing property of the product.In combination with the above factors,the oxidation time for the bottom plate,with different thickness and area,should be depended on the actual situation.It was studied the pre-oxidation consistency of the bottom plate,which was introduced for reference in the data of the weight gain per unit area of the bottom plate.According to the industry data(ASTM)at home and abroad,Kovar alloy is oxidized in a micro-oxidation atmosphere protection furnace.The weight per unit area is introduced to ensure the consistency of the oxide layer,improve the strength and performance of the sealing interface,and the sealing performance of the relay.This article was established reasonable glass insulator molding,curing preparation and vitrification parameters,and the improvement of atmospheric pre-oxidation parameters and consistency of Kovar parts,through the process design and experimental research.It had been tested the improved relay that its performance index was mitten or exceeded the technical requirements of the aerospace military relay.
