With the development of aeronautical engines,in order to adapt to the more severe working environment and improve its working efficiency,we hope to reduce the internal and internal aeronautical engines by improving the sealing performance and mechanical properties of the W-shaped metal seal ring used inside the aircraft engine.For the purpose of reducing energy loss,thereby improving the efficiency of aviation aviation operations.As the internal working environment of the aeronautical engine is more demanding,the internal sealing parts also produce high sealing performance requirements.The W-shaped sealing ring is an important sealing component in the aeronautical engine,and its sealing effect directly affects the safety of the aviation engine.With the operation efficiency,this paper will focus on the mechanical properties and sealing performance of the W-shaped sealing ring.By establishing the finite element analysis model,the effects of different working conditions and design parameters on the sealing performance and mechanical properties of the sealing ring are discussed.Considering the maximum Von-mises stress,contact stress,contact area and axial force,the technical indexes that have a great influence on the sealing performance of the sealing ring.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Using the finite element analysis software Abaqus to establish a finite element model,from the aspects of material selection,model simplification,contact pair selection,meshing and load application for W-shaped metal seal ring under tightening and working conditions.The sealing ring is subjected to finite element analysis calculation.(2)The influence of different working conditions environment and design parameters on the axial stiffness of the W-shaped metal sealing ring is discussed and the compression and rebound characteristics of the W-shaped metal sealing ring are analyzed.The mechanical properties are provided for the design of the W-shaped sealing ring.(3)Analyze the influence of different working environment and design variables on the W-shaped metal sealing performance of sealing ring and obtain the structural parameters that have great influence on the sealing performance of sealing ring.By selecting the structural parameters that have great influence on the sealing performance as the design.To selecting variable optimized to design.(4)Select the appropriate experimental design method to collect and process the experimental data,and fit the data obtained in the experimental design by ideal method to obtain the mathematical relationship between the design variables and the response values and verify the accuracy.The optimized design software performs multiple target optimization design on the approximate mathematical model,and obtains the ideal optimization result to improve the sealing performance of the sealing ring.The obtained optimization results are verified by finite element software simulation.
