Research On Technologies Of Digital Color Field Of Vision Design For Color Blind

Along with rapid development of technique and abundance of products, the enterprises and designers pay more attention to the demand of disadvantaged. The proportion of color blind is about 8 percent in the world population. At present, more researches concentrate to the design for disadvantaged, but absent in the field of design for color blind. Therefore, based on the approaches of Industrial Design, theoretics of color design and technique of Computer Aided Design, research on digital color field of vision design for color blind has been done by the paper and the theoretics and approaches of digital color field of vision design for color blind has been advanced.The color field of vision design principia has been advanced with the research on physiological character of color blind and theoretics of color design. Combined existing research, a mapping arithmetic between actual color and color blind has been advanced based on the research on character of color blind. A color model for color blind is established to select color contrastively. Color field of vision of color blind is imitated based on color design tree for color blind.Based on these approaches and technologies, a prototype digital color field of vision design system for color blind is developed .CAXA software is chose as the platform to develop the prototype. The system is validated successfully by the color design of product.The paper supplies a new method to research on digital color field of vision design for color blind. And the feasibility of digital color field of vision design was shown preliminarily by experiments.
