With the rapid development of ship technology, the application of electric propulsion in ship field tends to be extensive.Electric propulsion ships, characterized by efficient and economical operation, compact engine room arrangement, large propulsion power and flexible operation, take up an increasing proportion in large and special ships. The ship power station is one of the control cores of the electric propulsion ship.In order to ensure the stable operation of the power station of the electric propulsion ship,it is necessary to monitor and control the status and operation of the power station and the generator set with the efficient power station monitoring system. In this paper,a power station monitoring system based on electric propulsion ship is designed.According to the relevant principles of ship power station and generator set operation, the overall system planning, hardware selection and software design are carried out in combination with specific ship equipment parameters and technical requirements. The function test of the ship power station monitoring system is carried out by combining the ship power station model with the actual equipment. The specific research as follows:Analyze the operation principle of ship power station and generator set, design the control function of electric propulsion ship power station monitoring system based on the function of traditional ship power station. And according to the requirements of generator set, power grid and load in ship power station, design the control flow chart of function which include automatic start and stop, parallel operation, automatic frequency and load adjustment, heavy load inquiry and load limitation.Based on the function of traditional ship power station, the control function of electric propulsion ship power station monitoring system is designed.Matlab/Simulink was used to establish the ship power station simulation model for the later monitoring system functional test.Hardware selection and overall planning for the control requirements of ship power stations and generator sets.Select and configure PLC,PPU,industrial PC and HMI panel. The parameter acquisition module of the monitoring system is designed, and the communication variables between the main controller of the monitoring system and PPU and other detection devices are established. The display interface of the lower computer is completed with HMI display screen,HMI human-machine interaction interface is designed, custom control group of the monitoring system is developed to complete the control and display functions of the monitoring system. The host computer adopts WPF technology for interaction design, and USES C#language to write control programs and control functions. The host computer interface is designed in CorelDrawX7 and the communication between the host computer and PLC is completed by wintcps7_lk.dll communication component.According to the functional principle of the monitoring system design above, complete the program of each functional block. The functions of automatic start and stop, parallel operation, frequency and load regulation and system protection are designed. And according to the characteristics of electric propulsion ship power station, design the functions of heavy load inquiry, quick load reduction, propulsion load limitation. The ship power station simulation model and PLC,frequency converter, motor and other practical equipment are used to carry out functional test and data display test of the designed power station monitoring system.OPC communication technology was used to establish the data communication between the main controller hardware and Matlab simulation model.Continuously improve the monitoring system function according to the test feedback.
