During the rapid progress of urbanization,due to the lack of awareness of ecology and environmental protection,domestic and industrial sewage is discharged at will without treatment,and urban rivers are over-channelized,leading to the ecological and landscape degradation of urban rivers.In recent years,with the comprehensive development of city betterment and ecological restoration programs in China,urban rivers have received more and more attention as an important part of ecological restoration of water bodies.The combination of ecological restoration and river landscape reconstruction design can improve the quality of urban river landscapes,Restore the ecological functions of urban rivers and promote the further development of the theory of city betterment and ecological restoration.The thesis first systematically combs the background and related concepts of urban river ecological restoration,analyzes the research dynamics and related cases of river ecological restoration at home and abroad,and summarizes the development trend of urban river landscape reconstruction design under the background of ecological restoration.Secondly,the structure and functions of river ecosystems are briefly summarized from three aspects: landform features,hydrological features,and landscape patterns,providing a reference and basis for urban river ecological restoration.The major ecological problems of urban rivers,such as river pollution,changes in river hydrological situation,changes in river landforms,and obstruction of river connectivity are analyzed.Six principles of urban river landscape reconstruction based on the concept of ecological restoration are proposed: taking natural river as the orientation,combining ecological restoration with flood control safety,combining ecological restoration with sponge cities,paying equal attention to both engineering and non-engineering measures,coordinating river space with urban space,and giving consideration to both ecological and social functions.With reference to the structure and function of natural river ecosystems,aiming at the ecological problems existing in urban rivers,and in combination with the principles of ecological restoration and design,this paper proposes strategies for urban river landscape reconstruction based on the concept of ecological restoration,which include three levels: river basin,river segment and site.Atthe river basin level,we should protect water sources,construct river and lake ecology and flood storage systems and restore natural hydrological conditions.At the river segment level,according to the spatial characteristics,including contracted river segment and extended river segment,the natural landform of the river should be restored,and the public activity space should be constructed.At the site scale,ecological slope protection and in-river habitat restoration technology should be used to repair the damaged river ecological environment,and a cascade purification system should be built to purify urban non-point source pollution.Finally,the strategy of urban river landscape reconstruction and design based on the concept of ecological restoration is applied to the design and reform of Shuxi River,and the feasibility of combining the idea of ecological restoration in the urban river landscape reconstruction design is further demonstrated,to make the Shuxi River an urban green ecological corridor with good ecology,beautiful landscape,rainwater storage and water purification functions.
