Application Of Organic Morphology In City Waterfront Landscape Design

Water is the source of civilization and the foundation of survival.Whether the origin and development of a city or the advancement of human civilization are all closely related to the river basin.The origin of countless cities is in the area of waterfront,which is the area closest to nature in the development of the city,and the area of waterfront has become the place where the crowd activities are most concentrated and serried.However,the rigid waterfront design makes the waterfront space too functional,resulting in the lack of waterfront features in the design,and the landscape cannot be well integrated with the natural environment.All things are the products of nature at the beginning.Only in natural form can people’s life have more adaptability and sense of belonging to the waterfront environment.The design of organic form has brought people a waterfront environment that can purify their hearts in the fast-developing modern city.In the design,they look for and feel nature,and use the vitality and appeal of organic form to give new "life" to the urban waterfront.explains the harmonious relationship between man and nature.The dynamic and vital lines plan the waterfront space full of fun.The harmonious and comfortable shape of the organic form makes the waterfront landscape design closer to the ecological beauty of nature.The beauty of the organic lines is used to repair nature.The natural beauty in the urban waterfront can also make people feel the aesthetic artistic conception brought by the organic form in the artificial landscape.Firstly,this paper introduces the relevant developments of urban waterfront research at home and abroad.Combined with the concept,content and characteristics of urban waterfront landscape,it puts forward the problems existing in the urban waterfront design such as "waterfront landscape is partial to functionality,lack of interesting and rigid design",which leads to the separation of design and nature.According to the existing problems,the form concept and the methods of expression of organic form design are put forward,and the design advantages,design principles and design methods of organic form are analyzed,as well as its feasibility in urban waterfront design.The design of organic form has brought people a waterfront environment that can purify their hearts in the fast-developing modern city.In the design,they look for and feel nature,and use the vitality and appeal of organic form to give new "life" to the urban waterfront.This paper selects Sanya Mangrove Park,Chengdu Living Water Park and koppel Central Park as three practical cases to study,analyzes the advantages of organic form in the urban waterfront landscape design,and makes image-text analysis of its advantages.After analyzing the theoretical basis and cases,the thesis has carried out the practical design of urban waterfront.Inspired by the field investigation,the analysis of characteristics of site and the guidance of organic forms,the design was completed.At last,the thesis summarizes the viewpoints of this thesis once again.
