Based on the advantages of the good overall performance,good loading capacity,economical and reasonable,the long-span spatial grid structure have been widely used in the industrial and civil buildings.However,due to the change of loads,rust,construction error,buckling of components and so on,the long-span spatial grid structure may appear the safety problem in its lifetime.So the research of the detection,characterization and seismic performance after reinforced for long-span spatial grid structure will have great significance.In this paper,taking one dry-coal shed as a research object,the mechanical performance will be reevaluated by considering the effect of application condition(eg.the change of loads),service life(eg.change of component strength)and seismic fortification intensity(no seismic design in origin structure).Therefore,the detection of long-span spatial grid structure will be firstly studied.Then the finite element model of dry-coal shed is designed by using the real load,component size and detection results,so the components in the dry-coal shed can be analyzed and determined under the most unfavorable load,the reinforcement method and reinforcement design will be provided.Finally,the seismic performance of dry-coal shed model after reinforcement will be reappraised.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The accident causes of long-span spatial grid structure are analyzed,and the applicability of reinforcement methods with casing,bonding steel and FRP is introduced in detail.(2)The general situation of the long-span spatial grid structure is described.Based on the relevant technical regulations of steel structure,the component damage,anticorrosive coating and component strength of long-span spatial grid structure are investigated in field.(3)The 3d3s numerical model of long-span spatial dry-coal shed is built by using the detection results,designed data and real load,so the strength,stability and bolt strength of components in the dry-coal shed can be obtained,so the reinforcement method will be proposed.(4)The Midas software is used to re-evacuate the seismic performance of the reinforced long-span spatial dry-coal shed,and the component strength,vertical displacement and horizontal displacement can be studied,and the reinforcement performance of the new dry-coal shed will be comprehensive evaluation.
