As a long-term research direction of power engineering discipline,power system optimization has extremely important practical significance.With the continuous expansion of the power network,the requirements for power system optimization have also increased.This article mainly researches and discusses in the classic method of power system optimization,which mainly involves:power flow calculation,calculation of network loss micro-increasing rate,classic method active power,reactive power optimization,and over-limit voltage regulation based on sensitivity analysis.In this paper,the power flow calculations of various power systems are described in detail,and the Cartesian and polar Newton methods are compared and analyzed.Combining the advantages of both and avoid their disadvantages,a new-type Newton method was proposed.Comparing with traditional polar coordinate Newton method,the new method was proved to be fast and effective.Secondly,introduced several basic active and reactive network loss micro-increasing rate algorithms,classical methods of active and reactive optimization models and specific program optimization steps.By applying various network loss micro-increasing rate algorithms to active and reactive optimization examples,and then comparing and analyzing them,trying to apply the combined method of admittance matrix method and Jacobian matrix method to classical method active power optimization.Finally,by comprehensively considering the K value method,and applying the over-limit voltage regulation method which based on sensitivity analysis to the classic method of reactive power optimization,contrast and analyze the optimization results of different network loss micro-increasing rates,and verify the effectiveness of the over-limit voltage regulation method based on sensitivity analysis.
