Along with the prosperity of the national economy,China 's civil aviation industry has developed rapidly,and the safety of civil aviation has been paid more and more attention.The normal operation of civil aviation radio equipment is an important guarantee for safety.However,in recent years,incidents of interference to civil aviation radio equipment have occurred frequently in China.It may cause dangerous situations such as communication interruption,navigation distortion and loss of surveillance targets.Interference to the radio equipment has become a major hidden danger to flight safety.National Radio Administration Bureau pays much attention to interference detection.But multipath fading of signals increases much difficulty,and it is hard to finish interference detection efficiently with ground radio monitoring methods.Carrying out aerial radio monitoring with UAV is an effective supplement to current ground monitoring methods.The UAV brings the monitoring equipment into the air to receive the direct wave of the interference signal,which can increase the receiving capability and the efficiency of monitoring equipment.However,in the current mode of aerial monitoring method with UAV,there is much room for improvement in working mode,the cost and the efficiency.By studying the research status and development requirements of civil aviation radio monitoring systems at home and abroad,this paper introduces transmission characteristics of radio waves,radio equipment for civil aviation system and common interference sources.This paper takes radio monitoring equipment,direction finding methods,location technology and aerial radio monitoring methods into comparison,and brings an improvement in the current UAV-based aerial radio monitoring method.This makes that one operator can finish whole work,so that the cost cuts and the efficiency is promoted.According to the functional requirements of the aerial radio monitoring system based on UAV,this paper designed a software system with the function of positioning radio interference through the redevelopment of Mission Planner,an open source ground control station.It has been made into a ground terminal system with devices for aerial radio monitoring.The system has passed a series of tests,which included UAV controlling test,direction finding error test,monitoring radius test and two-point cross-position test.The result of the tests demonstrates that the improvement brought by ground terminal system works well in interference detection.There is only one operator needed to finish the drone controlling and radio monitoring,and in this way,the cost can be cut and the efficiency can be promoted.The aerial monitoring ground terminal system offers practical applicable value.
