Phase change materials have high efficiency in energy storage.The phase change material and the building material matrix are combined to form a kind of heat storage enclosure structure.This enclosure structure can play the function of phase change heat storage,reduce the fluctuation of indoor temperature,enhance the thermal comfort of the building,and reduce the energy consumption of the building operation more effectively,thus realizing the building energy saving.In this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of current existing phase change energy storage materials and their applications in different enclosure structures are analyzed,Five combined enclosure structures with energy storage materials are proposed,and their effects on indoor temperature distribution and economics of their applications were studied by using several numerical simulation methods.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)Establishing a two-dimensional model of energy storage enclosure with phase change materials,using Comsol software t o simulate the summer and winter conditions in cold winter and hot summer areas represented by Hengyang.The optimum phase change temperature and the types of phase change materials used in summer and winter were determined.(2)Five types of envelope structures are designed according to the solar radiation obtained by the envelope structure in different seasons and different directions,and a three-dimensional model of energy storage enclosure with phase change materials was established.Using Comsol software to simulate the summer and winter conditions in cold winter and hot summer areas represented by Hengyang.This paper discusses the influence of the combined use of five phase change energy storage enclosures on the indoor temperature distribution under two working conditions,and put forward an improved method of adding cold surfaces in summer and hot surfaces in winter.The distribution of indoor temperature after improvement is compared and analyzed.(3)Using EnergyPlus numerical simulation method,in the cold winter and hot summer area represented by Hengyang,the ability of this combined phase change energy storage enclosure to reduce the peak load of the building and the energy consumption of the building's operation was demonstrated.According to the current tiered pricing for electricity,the energy consumption is converted into the operating cost,and the economics of this kind of composite phase change energy storage envelop is analyzed.
