In recent years, with the gradual melting of Arctic sea ice and the gradual advancement of the construction of the "Polar Silk Road",major shipping companies try to navigate the Arctic route in order to collect shipping data and promote the transformation of Arctic ship-ping activities to scale and normalization. However, due to the influence of sea ice in the Arc-tic route,Arctic shipping has shown an uncertain state. In order to facilitate the operational decision-making of Arctic shipping and explore the impact of different ice conditions on Arc-tic shipping,an optimization model of Arctic ship speed under the influence of different ice conditions is established, which based on the consideration of the sea conditions of the route, aiming at the minimization of the voyage cost, taking the ship safety and the ship operation time as constraints.Since the hydrostatic speed model affected by the disturbance force is introduced into the speed optimization model, the sub-problems of the NLP problem increase. And there are strict time window constraints on Arctic shipping and navigation in ice areas. Therefore, according to the characteristics of the speed optimization model of the Arctic route,a discrete-time ele-ment method is constructed.By discretizing the time window according to a certain step, the sub-problems are assigned to the time path to solve, which can ensure the accuracy and im-prove the efficiency of solution.Through the analysis of an example,it can be found that:In the ice segment, due to the introduction of icebreaker, the static water speed increases first, then decreases and then in-creases due to the decrease of ice resistance, and the ice area cost increases first, then slows down and then accelerates due to the decrease of fuel cost and the increase of icebreaker cost;In the whole course of the voyage, the static water speed increases with the increase of ice concentration except for the ice segment, and the total cost of the voyage shows the trend of acceleration first, then gentle and then acceleration because of the increase of the static water speed of the ice free segment and the increase of the ice segment cost.Comparing with the cost of traditional routes,it is found that the economy of Arctic routes decreases with the in-crease of ice concentration, but it is still better than the traditional routes in navigable period. It can be concluded that:Under the influence of sea ice,the Arctic route is unstable in the cargo transportation between the Far East and Western Europe, but in the navigable period, the economy of the Arctic route is higher. Therefore,in order to promote the construction of the Arctic shipping,we should take the existing route network as the basis, and take the Arctic route as the seasonal supplement of the traditional route,so as to make full use of the charac-teristics of the Arctic route, such as low cost, short voyage and short voyage time,in the cargo transportation between the Far East and Western Europe. The model and results can provide a reference for shipping companies to manage the Arctic.
