To study the eccentric compressive performance of irregular shaped concrete-filled steel tubular long columns(CFST),this paper focus on the experimental study,finite element method analysis(FEM),and bearing capacity calculation methods.In this paper,the failure modes of components were analyzed,and compared the influences of various parameters on eccentric bearing capacity,can provide reference for engineering application and code establishment of irregular shaped CFST components.Main research content of this paper include following 3 parts(1)3 T-shaped and 6 L-shaped CFST long column specimens were designed for eccentric compression test.The failure features and process of specimens under eccentric compression were analyzed,and obtained load-displacement curves.Compared failure modes and stress-strain relationship of the specimens under different slenderness ratio,section aspect ratio and eccentricity(2)Used the fiber model method and FEM to model and analyze the irregular shaped CFST members under eccentric compression.Comparing the results of modeling and test to verify the rationality of this method.Then set up several control groups to further analyze the influence of slenderness ratio,section aspect ratio,eccentricity and eccentric angle on the eccentric compressive performance,which provides the basis for establishing the calculation formulas of irregular shaped CFST components under eccentric compression(3)Using the calculation formulas from codes of rectangular CFST components under eccentric compression to calculate the bearing capacity of irregular shaped columns,which can find the calculation mode of eccentric bearing capacity.Then used the calculation method from journals to calculate the eccentric bearing capacity of irregular shaped CFST columns,comparing these values with test and FEM analysis to verify the safety of the method and optimize the coefficients of unsafe area.
