Water leakage in the household water supply pipeline will bring economic losses and safety hazards.At present,there are a variety of water leakage detection schemes,but due to the limitations of cost,real-time nature,or detection accuracy,they cannot be popularized and promoted in smart home systems.The development of indoor wireless network communication technology provides new ideas for the study of smart home water leakage detection systems.This paper proposes a smart home water leakage detection system based on LoRa wireless networking technology.The system consists of a battery-powered LoRa leak detection node,a LoRa-Wi Fi concentrator gateway that can control the water valve switch,an APP that can monitor the system status in real time,and a remote control for the solenoid valve.The node is used to detect the leakage state and send an alarm signal to the concentrator gateway through the LoRa module.After receiving the alarm signal,the concentrator gateway automatically closes the main water valve,and sends this alarm signal to the APP via Wi Fi to remind the user to handle it in time.The remote control of the solenoid valve is used as an auxiliary to control the opening and closing of the solenoid valve.This system has the advantages of low power consumption,low cost,strong real-time performance and high communication reliability,and it is easy to integrate into smart home systems such as home floor heating systems.In order to ensure that the battery-powered leak detection node can work for a long time,this paper proposes a low-power design method based on an adaptive power adjustment algorithm.Adopting the average filtering mechanism,after collecting multiple signal strengths(RSSI),the node removes the RSSI value with large fluctuations and takes the average value,thereby improving the accuracy of data link evaluation,and then adaptively adjust its transmit power according to the RSSI value.Tests show that the improved algorithm can effectively improve the efficiency of node power adjustment and reduce network communication power consumption.In order to reduce the probability of data collision when multiple leak detection nodes access the channel at the same time and improve the reliability of LoRa wireless network communication,this paper proposes a wireless network collision avoidance design method based on non-slot CSMA/ CA algorithm.Taking the backoff times NB value as the basis for assessing the current network conditions,the adaptability of the backoff time slot is designed.The adaptive dynamically changing backoff time slot can effectively reduce the probability of each node choosing the same backoff time window and reduce data collisions.By designing the priority weighting of back-off time slots,nodes with higher priority have shorter back-off time slots and a lower probability of datatransmission failure.Based on the above algorithm,the LoRa wireless network architecture and communication protocol are designed.The test results show that the wireless network designed with the above algorithm has reliable communication performance and can make timely and accurate responses to water leakage from the pipeline.
