The Research Of Port Competitiveness Evaluation Based On Combination Weighting And TOPSIS Method

At present,the ports around the world are all under the trend of increasingly fierce port competition,especially in China.Due to the many of China's coastal ports,the competition is more intense.So it is necessary for us to take a more objective,scientific,reasonable and effective method to evaluate the competitiveness of port.It will help us to clear the advantages of port competitiveness and the gap between the ports of the good.Then we can put forward targeted suggestions for future development of the port.In this thesis,we firstly analyzed the influence factors of port competitiveness,and constructed the evaluation index system of port competitiveness including the target layer,the criterion layer and the decision layer.Secondly,we analyzed the weighting method and the comprehensive evaluation method,which commonly used in the evaluation of port competitiveness,then we decided to choose combination weighting method and the TOPSIS of improved gray correlation analysis as the analysis method of port competitiveness evaluation and evaluated the design,after weighing the advantages and disadvantages of various methods.Finally,on the basis of organize the relevant port data about Qingdao Port,Tianjin Port and other five ports in the Bohai sea port group,combination weighting method was used to calculate the weight of evaluation index,and the TOPSIS of improved gray correlation analysis was used to analysis the port competitiveness.The research shows that the comprehensive competitiveness of ports from strong to weak is: Tianjin port,Qingdao port,Dalian port,Yantai port,Rizhao port,Yingkou Port,Qinhuangdao port.Compared with the port competitiveness evaluation results,which obtained by using other empowerment method,this evaluation method and results are more Scientific and credible.
