(Impact Of Semi-desert Highway Environment On Driver's Mind Wondering And Safety Guarantee)

Drivers play a decisive role in road traffic safety.The semi-desert road's tedious landscape facilities and single linear shape are easy to cause the driver to mind wondering,that is,to break away from the current driving state and turn to thinking about nothing related to the driving task.In fact,there have been studies showing that the driver 's mind wandering while driving will cause certain hidden dangers to traffic safety.At present,the research on driver 's mind wondering is mainly qualitative analysis.With reference to the related research methods of psychology and neurology on mind wondering,this article uses eye movement index method combined with oral reporting method to select 10 drivers for real vehicle test.The eye tracker collects eye movement data,compares the driver's eye movement changes under the determination of mind wondering,and determines the pupil diameter and gaze duration as mind wondering indicators.Assuming that the road environment is good and the illumination level is the same,when the subject is driving awake,the pupil diameter is greater than the average diameter of the driving process and the gaze duration increases by 50%or more,it can be defined as the driver's mind wondering.Use GPS to collect road linear data and calculate the driving speed of the driver as a driving operation behavior index.Through a macro comparison,the frequency and duration of mind wandering in different road environments such as Uma Expressway,G110,and urban roads found that the frequency of mind wandering of drivers when driving on semi-desert roads is greater than 20%,and mind wondering occurs more frequently on grade highways than on highways.The longer it takes to travel the same mileage,the longer the duration of mind wondering.Comparing the driving operation changes of the subjects at different times,it is concluded that the driving speed will increase to a certain extent when mind wandering occurs.Through the correlation test,the influencing factors of the driver's mind wondering were determined.The analysis showed that the length of the driving in different highway environments,the proportion of straight line segments and the radius of the horizontal curve had a significant effect on the change of the mind wondering index.Looking at the influence of vehicle speed on mind wondering,it is found that the driver's eye movement changes significantly when d riving at different speeds,and a small amount of traffic can suppress the occurrence of mind wondering to a certain extent.Further micro-analyze the changes of the driver's mind wondering under different linear indicators,and establish the relationship between the subject's eye movement index,the length of the straight line segment and the flat curve,and use the extreme value theorem to obtain the semi-desert road where the driver's mind wondering begins frequently.The critical length of the straight section is 5.01km,and the two critical values of the mind wondering of the curved section are R=2000m and R=6571m,which can be used for future design reference.In addition,common road landscape design schemes are given,including discoloration treatment and roadside artificial structure design.
