The air cushion platform is a mobile platform with flexible air cushion,which can be lifted above the surface when traveling,so it has the amphibious property that conventional ships do not have.The air cushion system also enables the air cushion platform having similar ice-breaking ability with conventional icebreakers.Although the low speed air cushion ice-breaking mode has been developed for a long time,there are few researches on the internal flow field of the air cushion system under the ice-breaking mode,the pressure distribution is not clear,and the structural optimization problem aiming at the structural strength of the air cushion platform is also lack of detailed research.Based on the background above,this paper mainly focuses on the internal flow field of the air cushion platform and optimized design of the hull structure.The main research is presented as follows:(1)Based on computational fluid dynamics,3D modeling for the all-finger air cushion system was built,and a numerical analysis has been conducted for internal flow field of air cushion by CFD method.The calculation results of the air cushion platform under hydrostatic condition were compared with theoretical values,and the pressure distribution of the air cushion platform under ice-breaking mode was calculated.(2)Structure load of the air cushion platform under drainage condition and lifting condition was calculated.(3)Finite element model of the entire hull was built,then structure load was applied in the method provided by Rules for Construction and Classification of Sea-Going High Speed Craft published by CCS and the rigid motion of the hull was constrained by inertial release technology.Finally,the structure stress and displacement deformation under various working conditions was obtained.(4)Aiming at the results of structural strength check,to ensure the safety of the structure and improve the transportation capacity of the air cushion platform,two optimization schemes was proposed to optimize the design of hull structure and then the structural strength of the optimized results was verified.
