Since the 21st century,UAV technology has become more and more mature.As a new industry,it has attracted more and more researchers' attention.Domestic and foreign UAV technology is developing rapidly in the direction of high flexibility,high power and long range.In UAVs,the engine is used as the power plant,but its heavy weight has been limiting performance.At present,how to reduce the weight of the engine and extend the service life of the engine is the focus of researchers.It has been found that the lightweight of engine cylinders can be achieved in two ways.The first is to choose a high strength casting aluminum alloy material,the second is to choose a high strength heat resistant casting magnesium alloy material.During the cold start of the engine,dry friction occurs because the lubricating oil cannot be attached to the cylinder wall in time,and most of the engine wear comes from the dry friction during the cold start.When the coating on the surface of the UAV engine cylinder is damaged,the friction between the aluminum and magnesium alloy cylinder and piston ring will occur.Therefore,it is necessary to further study the dry friction behavior of lightweight cast aluminum and magnesium alloys.At the same time,there are many researches on the dry friction of cast aluminum and magnesium alloy at home and abroad,but most of them are based on a certain index of the alloy.In this paper,two kinds of aluminum alloy ZL104,ZL111 and three magnesium alloys ZA81M,AZ91D and Elektro21 were selected,and the Y mold was cast by gravity.The mechanical properties and thermal conductivity at different temperatures were investigated,and the relationship between materials and properties was expounded.The effects of different frequencies,loads and temperatures on the dry friction properties of aluminum and magnesium alloys were studied.The study of lightweight materials in this paper will provide some theoretical support for the selection of UAV engine cylinder materials.At the same time,the dry friction research of lightweight materials will help to improve the friction theory system of UAV engine.
