After 30 years of rapid and steady development,China's home appliance industry has become the world's largest home appliance manufacturing production base.After 2011,the development of the domestic home appliance market has entered a bottleneck period,and the global home appliance industry is moving towards high-end,intelligent Transformation,but due to the relatively short duration of China's market economy,Chinese home appliance companies have a problem of insufficient core competitiveness in the international market compared to internationally developed large overseas companies.In this context,in order to better To achieve a global layout and enhance its own core competitiveness,overseas mergers and acquisitions have become an important means for Chinese home appliance companies to pursue their own development strategies.Therefore,a reasonable evaluation of the impact of mergers and acquisitions on corporate performance is particularly important for the company's future development.First of all,it introduces the relevant theories of corporate M&A performance,and provides a solid theoretical basis for the analysis that follows.Through combing,it is believed that the use of the balanced scorecard method is more conducive to evaluating corporate M&A performance.Secondly,introduce the case of Midea M&A Toshiba Home Appliances,introduce Midea and Toshiba Home Appliances companies,analyze Midea's global development strategy,and explain the reasons for M&A,M&A background and M&A process.Again,the use of balanced scorecards to evaluate M&A performance from the four dimensions of finance,customers,internal processes,and learning and growth.The analysis found that Midea passed this merger,although it has caused profitability and solvency in the short term The decline in growth has not significantly improved the operational and growth capabilities,but in the long run,Midea has broadened overseas markets,increased brand awareness,optimized product structure,and acquired core technologies for home appliances.Finally,combined with the analysis of the four dimensions,it puts forward targeted suggestions for improving Midea's post-merger performance.
