Manufacturing production process involves abundant spare parts,which are required accurate and rapid response.So,the spare parts distribution centers need to have high storage efficiency and pick fast and accurately.Spare parts distribution centers begin use multi-tier shuttle system to improve the storage and picking efficiency.This system has the characteristics of high efficiency and accuracy,low cost and space saving,which solves the problems of space waste,stock error and low operating efficiency in the past.However,compared with other items,spare parts still have many characteristics,such as variety,complex packaging,strong correlation and matching use.Those make the storage and picking of spare parts are still complicated.So,according to the spare parts characteristics,improving the storage and picking efficiency through the merging strategy and space assignment is of great significance to the spare parts distribution centers.Take the spare parts multi-tier shuttle system as the research object and optimize the system through the merging strategy and space assignment according to the actual operation problems and spare parts characteristics.The main research contents and findings of this paper are as follows:(1)Aiming at the problem of unreasonable quantity allocation in the past merging process,a merging model aiming at the optimal storage quantity ratio of spare parts is established based on the analysis of the quantity relationship.Propose an improved genetic algorithm combining with the metropolis criterion in the simulated annealing algorithm to solve the problem.Then based on above model and algorithm and combine the thoughts of correlation analysis and fuzzy clustering,a spare parts box merging based on heuristic strategy in consideration of storage quantity ratio is put forward.Finally,through the experiment,it is verified that the spare parts box merging based on heuristic strategy in consideration of storage quantity ratio can effectively improve the picking efficiency and mother-case turnover rate.(2)Optimize storage location for mother-cases.Use the average value of the correlation between all the spare parts in the mother-cases to determine the correlation between the two mother-cases.Based on the analysis of the disadvantages of K-means clustering algorithm,propose a K-means clustering algorithm based on improved gravitational search algorithm to get the store block.According to some principles,assign the block to the different position of the system,then assign the mother-case to the different position of the block.Finally,the experimental simulation proves that the compared with other space assignment algorithms,the K-means clustering algorithm based on improved gravitational search algorithm can reduce the picking time by 5%.
