Among the large rotating machineries,thrust bearing is the most important mechanical component.Dynamic thrust sliding bearing is widely used in hydro-generators,marine machinery and other devices.The performance of the thrust bearing directly affects the stability of the working status of the equipment.According to the harsh conditions change,it requires more for the performance of the mechanical equipment,under such circumstances,it becomes particularly important to improve the performance of bearings.Among various sliding thrust bearings,it can be divided into many types according to the bearing support structure,and it is very important to select a proper support structure.In this paper,in compares the common types of elastic support and rigid support and analyzes the influence of support structure on the static and dynamic characteristic of bearings from the perspective of point-supported,single pallet support,line bearing and Belleville bearing.This paper is based on the lubrication theory,establishing a mathematical model of pad thrust bearing film lubrication and determining the boundary conditions under oil-immersed lubrication.Firstly,it analyzes the fluid lubrication mathematical model by using the finite element method;and using the bearing lubrication performance calculation program authorized by Fortran and the finite element method of ANSYS Work Bench to analyze the influence of the bearing structure on the lubrication performance of thrust bearing.Secondly,it carries out the analysis of the uniformity of the thrust bearing on the Belleville bearing structure,and obtains the effect of the elastic support on the bearing load performance.Finally,the vibration equation of the bearing is established,using Matlab/Simulink to carry out the research of the structural parameters of the support on the vibration reducing performance of the bearing,and obtains the vibration resistance performance of the bearing structure under two kinds of vibration loads.At last,it researches the performance of the uniformity performance of the thrust bearing and compares the lubrication performance of the two rigid supports on the 100 T test rig,and the test results are basically consistent with the theoretical analysis.The study shows that the reasonable and proper design of the bearing surface of the supporting structure makes the deformation of the bearing thrust pad surface close to the minimum oil film thickness of the lubrication,which can help to improve the lubrication performance of the bearing.When the thrust pad is relatively small and light,the lubrication performance of the point-supported is better than the line bearing,and when it is heavy,the lubrication performance of the pallet supports is the best.Under the circumstances that a certain axial turbulence is allowed,the smaller of the elastic coefficient K of the Belleville bearing is,the better the uniformity is,meanwhile,the Belleville bearing belongs to the variable stiffness elastic support,and the variable stiffness characteristic has certain benefits to the uniformity performance of the thrust bearing.While increasing the elastic modulus and damping coefficient of the support structure can better absorb the impact load of the bearing and improve the stability of the bearing in the rotor system.
