| Nowadays,China’s aging problem is becoming more and more serious. The state has opened up the second child policy to improve the population structure and supplemented the number of newborns. However, the changes in the population structure and whether the corresponding environmental supporting facilities are complete and reasonable are issues that cannot be ignored in the current urban community construction. In this context,it is of great practical significance to explore the architectural design suitable for the integration of old age and child care. The article is divided into four parts. The first chapter is prolegomenon.First of all, this thesis analyzes the research background and significance of the topic selection from the perspective of providing for the elderly and childcare.Secondly,it defines the research objects and related concepts.Including the care model, childcare model, intergenerational solidarity, and humanized design. These related concepts together constitute the research object and the mode of discussion involved in the article. Then analyzed the current status of relatedresearch at home and abroad,When studying the old-age care model at home and abroad,I found that there are many cases of foreign studies on the old-age integration model. These cases provide a basis for the discussion in the subsequent chapters. The second chapter is the feasibility analysis of the building under the mode of old and young integration.Firstly, the thesis analyzed the elderly’s and children ’ s characteristics from the perspectives of physiology, psychology and behavior from the realistic basis of integration of the elderly and young children.Secondly, the space types of the elderly building and the childcare building unit are summarized.Through comparison and analysis, three types of spaces generated by the combination of the elderly and young children are summarized: fully shared space, partially shared space, and separated private space. This chapter provides design strategies and clear research directions for the design practice of the third chapter on the integration of old age and child care. The third chapter is the design and discussion of the integrated design of the nursing home building and thechild-care building based on the design practice basis of Changsha Houhu Community. The basis of site selection was analyzed first.Secondly, the land use conditions, architectural design requirements, and general plan design requirements were defined through the design task book, and the area and number of rooms in each unit were specified.Based on the particularity of the site,an architectural design practice for the integration of oldage care and child care in Houhu community is included, including the choice of building entrances and exits, analysis of building functional units and traffic flow lines. The floor plan, building elevation and building renderings of each floor of the building are finally completed. The fourth part is a summary of the old and young integration mode and design creation.Through research and design, the author believes that children’s participation in the field of activity of the elderly not only realizes the sharing of resources, but also effectively improves the quality of life of the elderly in their later years and the growth of children, which has a subtle effect. |
