The traditional Chinese sericulture culture is based on the traditional Chinese sericultural production involved mulberry cultivation,silk rearing,silk weaving skills and other related activities and is the integration of social behavior and ideas in the material or non-material way.In the contemporary era,the cultural and creative products have been one of the indispensable important media and become a new way of presenting traditional sericulture.Embedding the traditional Chinese sericulture culture in cultural and creative products is doable.In view of the fact that the richness of traditional Chinese sericulture culture resources does not match the present situation of the design of the cultural and creative products,it is of significance and value to carry out this design research reasonably and effectively.Based on the methodology of folk art and iconology,this research analyzes the historical context,culture elements,and connotation of traditional Chinese sericulture culture from the four aspects of historical documents,folk life,scientific and technological systems and art images respectively in order to explore the cultural significance of traditional Chinese sericulture culture and clarify design value of cultural and creative products.This dissertation examines the relevant cultural and creative products at home and abroad and finds out the actuality and problems of the design in terms of the traditional Chinese sericulture culture based cultural and creative products.As to solve the design flaw,the research puts forward each design directions and strategies on traditional Chinese sericulture culture based cultural and creative products which are divided into five categories of publications,film and animation,museum and art derivatives,experiential games and food and beverages.By discussing the resource elements of traditional sericulture culture,its cultural value is re-recognized and re-expressed.An example is advocated to verify the feasibility of a diversified,multi-sensory,interactive,branding,serial design proposal.Through the in-depth study of traditional Chinese sericulture culture with illustrations,this paper hopes to provide a theoretical basis for reference for the design and development of China's traditionalsilkworm culture in the creation of creative products in the future.
