G Company Supply Chain Strategy

At present,G company is facing the dilemma of declining scale and profit.One of the main reasons is that the supply chain strategy has problems and can not support the realization of the company's competitive strategy.There are three problems in G company's supply chain: first,the cost target of new models cannot be achieved when they are put into production,and there is a certain gap between cost control and competitors of independent brands;second,the quality target cannot be achieved at the initial stage of new models being put into production,and there is a certain gap between the quality level and competitors of joint venture brands;third,the risk of unstable supply guarantee,sluggish inventory and short supply of mass production models.The solution of G company's supply chain problem is imminent.In order to solve the problems in supply chain of G company,this paper first analyzes the resources and capabilities of the existing supply chain of G company,and then summarizes the internal advantages and disadvantages of the supply chain of the standard domestic and foreign advanced enterprises.Then it analyzes the direct and indirect influence of external macro environment and industry environment on G company's supply chain,and summarizes the external opportunities and external threats G company's supply chain faces.Finally,through SWOT analysis,combined with the requirements of the company's competitive strategy and other related functional strategies,the supply chain strategy suitable for the internal and external environment of G company is selected,and the medium and long-term strategic implementation plan and corresponding resource guarantee measures are formulated.Through the research,this paper thinks that the internal advantages of G company are that the basic process system has been established,the purchase price control is better than the joint venture brand,the quality management is better than the independent brand,and the reputation of supply chain management is better than the independent brand;the internal disadvantages of G company are that the organizational structure is not suitable for the supply chain management of the independent brand,the flexibility and efficiency of cost management is not as good as the independent brand,and the cost target of the new car type The management process is not perfect,there is a lack of legitimate suppliers,and the supply chain management and control ability is insufficient;the external opportunity of G company is that the bargaining power of some suppliers becomes weak,Internet thinking and big data technology can promote the transformation of traditional supply chain,the layout of parent company's parts and financial technology sectors can support the optimization of supply chain,and the supply chain of independent competitors is also not perfect;G company's external risk is that the independent brand faces the life and death,the supply chain strategy must have fast implementation,the traditional power,intelligent Internet connection,automatic driving and other supplier resources are scarce,the core parts are still monopolized by foreign brand suppliers,the consumption is upgraded,the competition is fierce,the supply chain is required to significantly reduce the cost,and the cultural differences restrict the learning of foreign advanced supply chain management experience.At the same time,this paper proposes that G company's supply chain strategy is to build a new digital supply chain integrating technology,quality,cost and supply,to build a harmonious,stable and dynamic zero ecosystem,to maximize the overall value of the supply chain,so as to match and support the implementation of G company's competition strategy.This paper analyzes and formulates the supply chain strategy of G company,and puts forward the medium and long-term implementation plan and corresponding resource assurance measures,which provides a choice for the future supply chain improvement of G company,and has great practical significance.
