Research On The Activation Of Villages In The Core Area Of Hani Terrace Heritage Based On Space Syntax

From 14 th century to present,the theoretical system and practical application of cultural heritage research have been developed and enriched constantly,from the exploration of material to intangible value,material level to the spiritual level,cultural relics to cultural landscape and other types,and the method of protection and utilization has gradually developed from the historical and static mode to the humanistic and dynamic mode.Under the development trend,in 1992,cultural landscape was in the world heritage list as a special type of heritage,which as a typical "living heritage",demonstrated the vitality of its dynamic evolution and cultural identity.With the rise of research on the interaction between space and culture,the potential relationship between the cultural essence implied in heritage value and the representation of external objects has become the core issue of heritage protection and utilization,which plays a significant role and influences the activation of heritage.As a typical representative of "living heritage",the cultural landscape heritage of Honghe Hani terraced fields in Yunnan province has been faced with the crisis of gradual loss of traditional culture,fault of national memory and replacement of the self-organizing spatial form presenting heritage value due to the impact of urbanization and multiculturalism in recent years.Therefore,this dissertation focus on typical village spaces in the core area of the heritage as the study object,and divides it into three types according to the heritage protection idea and the representation of activation factors,namely,traditional type,integrative type and developed type.Based on the types,the paper uses the axis model of space syntax and the visual graphic method to have an in-depth analysis of the three types of spatial structures,explore their underlying fabric relations,and combine with the internal cultural mechanism to separate out the characteristics of space.Finally,image elements and narrative network of representational narration are extracted,and proposes the strategy of activating the heritage villages through the reconstruction of the spatial narrative with both tangible and intangiblevalues,and the revitalizing strategies of villages in heritage areas and the revitalizing scheme of Azheke village are put forward.To sum up,the dissertation based on the research frontier of protection and utilization of contemporary "living heritage",with heritage value of village space as the carrier,then finding the heritage of humanistic spirit and matter synergies inherent characteristics and spatial narrative attribute,so that trying to reshape the heritage village historical context,at last activate the national collective memory and arouse the multiple subject identity provide theoretical basis for perception.Furthermore,the development strategy and scheme proposed in this paper are of great practical significance for the spatial activation of villages in the similar type of heritage areas.
