A Study On The Traditional Settlement Form Of Xiajiao Village,Huiyang District,Huizhou City,Guangdong Province

Due to the regional diversity,historical origins and cultural exchange of the traditional settlements in the central region of Guangdong Province,a variety of architectural culture and folk customs have emerged.With the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization,the past living environment of traditional settlements has not been able to meet the material and space design needs of people's increasing development.Many traditional settlements bearing rich historical information and architectural culture,because of blind demolition,construction,wanton transformation and other acts,resulting in a large number of traditional settlements were destroyed,many traditional villages also lost the atmosphere of the old town.As a representative of the traditional settlements in Huiyang area,Xiajiao village enclosure has a high research value of the five enclosures.Its artistic attainments and architectural preservation are relatively complete,and it also faces difficulties and challenges.Through the author's field investigation,it is found that the current demolition,construction and natural erosion of Xiajiao village lead to the loss of a large number of traditional buildings,and it is facing the dilemma of development and protection.Although the local government is promoting the second batch of new rural demonstration provinces,and taking Xiajiao Village as the key support object,its targeted protection measures and policies are not perfect,and the protection of ancient buildings is not perfect There are still many improper ways to protect and repair.Therefore,the protection of ancient buildings in Xiajiao village is facing a major crisis,but also an opportunity,for the protection and development form is very severe.Xiajiao village,located in Liangjing Town,Huiyang District,Huizhou City,Guangdong Province,was listed as an "ancient town of Guangdong Province" in January2012.Modern China suffered a lot from war and development exploration stage,which had a very serious impact on the ancient villages,but fortunately its historical context and overall architectural pattern remained relatively complete.The author is doing a series of research and Analysis on Xiajiao village,deeply mining the current situation ofits settlement,and deeply analyzing and extracting its unique historical context and historical value from the settlement form and regional characteristics.Based on the current situation,this paper explores the Countermeasures of ancient village protection,and puts forward the effective measures of ancient village environmental protection and development.First of all,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of Xiajiao village,including the impact of natural environment and climate characteristics on the development and evolution of the village,human economy and spiritual concepts,and analyzes the material basis of the ancient village from multiple dimensions.First of all,it introduces the basic situation and historical evolution of Xiajiao village.On the basis of on-the-spot investigation,it systematically analyzes and summarizes the site selection and layout,street space and architectural style of Xiajiao village through historical and cultural analysis,and collects the local information library through photography records,on-the-spot mapping and other forms to study and analyze the enclosure building of Xiajiao village.This paper sums up the settlement characteristics,interior decoration art and Hakka enclosure cultural connotation of Xiajiao village,and concludes the basic characteristics of Hakka enclosure in Xiajiao village.At last,based on the existing research of settlement form,this paper tries to put forward the corresponding protection strategies for the problems and deficiencies in the existing protection of Xiajiao village.In order to provide practical and feasible plans for the protection and development of Hakka houses in Xiajiao village in the future,the comprehensive research and analysis of this paper is one of the references for the theoretical guidance of protection and development,and provides practical reference for similar traditional settlements.
