Since 21 st century,China is in a high-speed economic development that people's consumption level has been huge improved,and more and more people have their own cars,in the meanwhile,the auto component industry has also been greatly developed in this period.However,after more than a decade of high-speed development,China's auto industry has gradually in a situation of sluggish demand growth in the auto market,excessive production capacity,and declining profit margins in auto manufacturing in the past two years.Under the circumstances,other related auto enterprises are facing with more and more stresses of competing.There are two main reasons for this.On the one hand,since 2018,the overall domestic economic trend is unsatisfactory,showing a decline in growth,along with the outbreak of Sino-US trade friction that automobile industry development is unprecedentedly challenged.With the variation in sales and profits,auto companies are turning their attention to cost reduction,which means that reducing the cost of component has become an important and inevitable part.On the other hand,the rising labor and transportation costs and environmental protection requirements have greatly pushed up the production and survival costs of car components enterprises,resulting in increasingly narrow margin.Therefore,how to optimize and improve the control of cost and production efficiency of automo bile manufacturing enterprises has become a top priority.FLA auto component company,an auto component manufacturer,also suffered a significant hit to its operations,with a negative growth in sales for the first time in 2019.The Paper with FLA auto component company as an example,analyzed the background of the company production and operation,also reviewed relevant literature theory of the production plan and production control as well.Based on the analysis of China's auto component industry development situation and the status of the FLA auto component company production plan and control,emphatically discusses some problems of the FLA auto component company,for example,poor forecast accuracy in production plan,short and volatile demand planning,difficult execution and coordination in overall production plan,low degree of informatization of production planning and control,and difficult to control inventory,etc.In conclusion,based on the above research,the paper proposes the solutions to improve the overall production by effective controls.First of all,improve production planning system and customer docking,strengthen internal communication,and improve the forecast accuracy in market demand and production planning,also reduce planning volatility.Second,improve lean production and flexibility,and optimize production plan to improve production capacity and reaction speed.Third,improve demand pull mode for finished products,internal semi-finished products,as well as external materials,and optimize production methods,etc.Finally,implementations of these methods will trend to effectively improve the inventory control problem accordingly.To sum up,the paper provides guidance for FLA auto component company of how to build a reasonable production planning and control system,so it can maintain lower cost and higher competitiveness in the fierce competitive market to some extent.More or less,it can also be used for reference and guidance for other similar manufacturing enterprises in our state so as to improve production planning and system control.
