At present, aircrafts are generally pushed by tractors out of the apron, then the main engines are started to taxi to the runway port. The Electric Taxiing System(ETS)enables aircrafts to be pushed out autonomously with the help of the Auxiliary Power Unit(APU).Furthermore, the aircraft can freely taxi between the apron and the runway without using engines and tractors. The scheduling of tractors can be improved with the application of ETS during rush hours, the fuel consumption and pollutant emissions can be greatly reduced when the aircraft is taxiing on the airport surface at the same time.In order to analyze the specific impact of ETS on the airport surface operation,a dynamic operation simulation system based on hierarchical timed colored Petri net(HTCPN)is established. The simulation system is mainly divided into two parts: the dynamic scheduling model of tractors before the pushout of aircraft and the taxiing model on the airport surface after the pushout of aircraft.Unlike other articles in the same field, the model established in this article can simulate the whole process of aircraft operation of all landing and departure aircrafts in CPN Tools without relying on the control of other algorithms outside the model.Firstly,a dynamic scheduling model of airport tractors is established. The dynamic allocation of tractors is completed based on the pushout application sent by the aircraft in real time.On the basis of ensuring the least number of delayed flights, the optimization goals of the highest workload balance among different tractors and the shortest total travel distance are achieved; Then, based on the mapping relationship between the basic elements of the Petri net and the surface operating unit,a dynamic model of aircraft taxiing on the airprot surface is established, which can realize the conflict-free taxiing under the constraints of real airport rules. Finally, the comparative analysis of whether to use ETS based on the built model is completed, the tractor support capability under the existing configuration of the target airport is evaluated, and the improvement of the tractor support capability by using ETS is quantitatively analyzed.Based on the Landing and Take-off(LTO),a modified calculation model of fuel consumption and pollutant emissions of aircrafts under different taxiing modes is established. The effect of ETS on aircraft emissions under different flight densities and the relationship between different types of aircraft before and after the installation of ETS are analyzed.
