With the increasing airport throughput,large transport airports are faced with the development needs of additional runways and flight area expansion.Narrow-spaced parallel runways have their unique advantages in saving space and improving airport operation capacity.The configuration of multiple narrow-spaced parallel runways is being used by more and more airports.In this context,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the taxiing efficiency of the airport under the narrow-spaced operation mode.The thesis takes this as the research object,based on the tools and methods of case comparison analysis,data statistical analysis,Petri net modeling and system simulation,the main work done in this thesis including:First of all,on the basis of analyzing the layout of typical narrow-spaced parallel runways at home and abroad,three different basic structures are summarized according to the relative positions of the functional zone of the airport and the narrow-spaced runway-taxiway system which include “one set of narrow-spaced parallel runways and functional zone concentrated”,“two sets of narrow-spaced parallel runways and functional zone centralized”,“one set of narrow-spaced parallel runways and functional zone decentralized”.And then the thesis focuses on the most complex structure of one set of narrow-spaced parallel runways and functional zone decentralized,the capacity of which is calculated and analyzed,and the function of the distribution of the flight volume on both sides of the runway under different runway operation modes and the total capacity is obtained.Based on this,the optimal operation strategy is proposed.Taking Shanghai Pudong Airport and Atlanta Airport of the United States as typical examples of narrow-spaced parallel runway airports,the ground operation of flights on the ground is subdivided into three parts: runway operation,taxiway operation and apron operation.Based on the collected data,the comparative analysis of the operational efficiency between China and the United States in two different phases has found the problems to be avoided in the planning and design of the narrow-spaced parallel runway airports and finally proposed the overall principles of this kind of airports.Under the guidance of the above planning principles,and based on the premise of keeping the basic structure unchanged,the thesis analyzes the north-south ward operation of Pudong Airport No.2 runway and proposes to solve the problem of insufficient space for waiting at the end of narrow-spaced runway and taxiing optimization strategy.In order to verify the implementation effect of optimization strategy and the improvement of ground operation efficiency,Petri nets are used to model the ground operation of narrow-spaced parallel runways.The simulation system is established based on Flexsim simulation platform.Combined with the flight operation data collected on site,with the comparison of the ground operation,the case analysis shows that the design optimization strategy can effectively improve the efficiency and safety of the taxiing under narrow-spaced operation mode.
