In order to meet the demand for electricity,improve the quality of power supply and promote intelligent interconnection,we should adhere to unified planning and standards,focus on solving the weak problems in the distribution network,improve the capacity of new energy reception,promote equipment upgrading and technological innovation,accelerate the construction of modern distribution network facilities and service system,and provide strong guarantee for-the goal of building smart grid.Therefore,strengthening the automation construction of distribution network will help to improve the operation monitoring and control ability of distribution network,realize the real-time and considerable control of distribution network,change "passive repair report" to "active monitoring",shorten the fault recovery time and improve the service level.This paper first introduces the structure of distribution automation system?Through the analysis of the functions of the main station system,distribution network automation channel,distribution electronic station and distribution terminal,we can know how to coordinate the whole system,and clarify the practical signif-icance of the application of distribution network automation in the power system.Secondly,Combined with the current situation and existing problems of the automation level of the distribution network in Qipanjing area,this paper deeply analyzes the demand of the transformation of the automation level of the distribution network in this area,and designs the transformation scheme of the distribution network automation matching the social and economic development of Qipanjing area.Based on the principle of fault section location of distribution network with matrix algorithm,the correctness of the algorithm is verified by the analysis results of single power,double power and multi power distribution network fault section location examples,and then the correctness of the method is verified by simulation and examples to achieve the purpose of using matrix algorithm to locate fault section of distribution network quickly.Finally,through the transformation of the distribution network automation project,the network structure in the area is optimized,the power supply radius is shortened,the real-time monitoring of the distribution network and the operation status of the equipment are realized,the inspection workload of the operators is reduced,the operation cost is saved,the reliability of the power supply is greatly improved,and the expected effect is achieved.It brings social and economic benefits to power supply enterprises and promotes the economic development of Qipanjing area.
