With the continuous progress and development of society,high-rise and even super-high-rise buildings have become the mainstream of the development of the construction industry.When constructing super high-rise buildings,steel structure played a very important role,it could ensure the overall stability of super high-rise buildings,and the advantages were outstanding.However,large and complex super high-rise steel structure buildings are wind-sensitive buildings,which may produce relatively large vibrations,stresses and deformations under the action of wind loads,so it was necessary to study the wind load of large steel structures.To this end,Jiangyin Bridge Construction Limited company and Zhao Jingyi’s research group worked together to study the wind load effect of large steel structure towers.This paper mainly performed quasi-static analysis of large steel structure towers and wind tunnel simulation analysis considering fluid-structure interaction.A simple comparison of these two methods was provided to provide a theoretical method and technical support for studying the wind effect mechanism of large and complex steel structure towers.This paper conducts related research on the following:Above all,the paper introduced the current development status of large high-rise steel structures,various damages caused by wind disasters,the use of large steel structure towers,the research status and means of structural wind engineering at home and abroad,and the current status of fluid-structure coupling analysis at home and abroad,and expounded that the influence of fluid-structure interaction should be fully considered when studying the wind effect of large steel structure towers.Then the paper introduced the characteristics of natural wind,including the characteristics of average wind and pulsating wind,established a finite element model of the steel structure tower,and analyzed theoretical calculation and equivalent statics analysis of wind load.Next,the paper introduced the basic principles of CFD,fluid-structure interaction and four commonly used numerical calculation methods,and analyzed the principles andcharacteristics of the arbitrary Lagrange-Euler method,and studied two strategies for transmitting information.Finally,based on the large steel structure tower,the fluid-structure interaction analysis of wind effects was carried out,including meshing the finite element model of the tower,setting boundary conditions,and setting analysis parameters.The flow field analysis was performed in FLUENT,and the structural analysis was performed in the static analysis module on the ANSYS Workbench platform.
