With the continuous acceleration of urbanization,people's living standards have improved significantly,the demand for transportation has increased dramatically,and the construction length and density of road networks have also increased.At the same time,the problem of traffic congestion also arises,which largely restricts the development of cities and the improvement of people's living standards.Reasonable analysis,orderly guidance and overall control of the traffic flow on the road network are effective ways and means to reduce traffic congestion.Therefore,how to coordinate a coordinated signal control method that conforms to traffic conditions from the overall perspective of all road networks within the scope of regional control is a new requirement for solving traffic congestion.In view of the shortcomings of the existing regional traffic coordination control methods,combined with the development of traffic signal control technology,a regional traffic coordination control method based on short-term traffic flow prediction is proposed,and the corresponding coordinated control is formulated by predicting the traffic flow change trend in advance Program.This paper mainly studies the division of traffic control sub-zones and the way of coordinated regional traffic control.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Calculation method of intersection green light release time based on shortterm traffic flow prediction.The reasons for the difference between the green light release time and the green light demand time at signalized intersections are analyzed.On the basis of considering the vehicle arrival and dissipation characteristics,the composition of the passing vehicles and the headway time are studied.Using short-term traffic flow forecasting,an improved green light release time calculation method is proposed to realize the extended time of unit green light controlled by a variable induction signal.(2)Analyze the division method of regional traffic control sub-areas.Based on the study of the basic unit of sub-area division and the factors that influence the division,a sub-area division strategy is formulated.Through the initial division of the sub-areas of the maximum-minimum principle of adjacent intersections,combined with the calculation methods of the traffic similarity and periodic similarity of the adjacent intersections,the sub-area division process is designed.With the changes in the traffic flow of the regional road network,the coordinated control range of the sub-areas is constantly switched to realize dynamic sub-area switching.(3)Study the method of regional traffic coordination control based on short-term traffic flow prediction.According to the relevant parameters of regional coordinated control,analyze the idea of coordinated control,establish a regional traffic coordinated control model based on short-term traffic flow prediction;design a layered control system for regional traffic,and study its structure and functional modules;analysis and solution Constraint conditions of regional traffic coordination control,design regional traffic coordination control process.Finally,select appropriate cases and analyze the key parameters of regional coordinated control.Using Vissim simulation software,compare the relevant data before and after regional coordinated control,verify that this method of regional traffic coordinated control can reduce the delay time of regional traffic and ease traffic The effectiveness of congestion.
