The extend plate joint is a kind of steel structure beam-column joint with fast construction speed and can adapt to the standard manufacturing.In the traditional extend plate joint,h-beam is connected to H-beam through narrow extend plate.When the joint is damaged,because the bearing capacity of beam and column members is higher than that of narrow weld and bolt,the failure location of the joint is concentrated in the core area of the joint,which is not conducive to the seismic design of the structure.Improve traditional extend end plate connection,the reference node way of strengthening the rigidity,put forward the new expansion flange reinforced end plate nodes,through expanding the combination of beam end flange and expand the end plate,increase the bearing capacity of the node connection,improve the condition of the shear stress concentration,to achieve "strong node weak component" seismic performance goals.According to the mechanical model analysis of plane rigid frame and the reference to the American steel structure industry code,the design method of new node is obtained,which provides a reference for the engineering application of this kind of node.In the comparison analysis between the traditional overhanging plate joint and the new fabricated joint,ANSYS is used for the mechanical analysis of the joint.In the process of analysis,ANSYS is used to analyze the non-linear problems.By changing the end plate thickness and the nominal diameter of bolts of the two kinds of joints,three kinds of end plate thicknesses of rigid end plate,semi-flexible end plate and flexible end plate were analyzed.The mechanical property analysis under monotone load is studied.It is found that the thickness of rigid endplate is determined by American code,and the result is correct.When the endplate is thick,stress concentration will occur at the junction between the endplate and the flange of the beam.According to the European standard,the new type of joint under the rigid endplate can be determined as the rigid joint.On the basis of monotone loading,the seismic performance of the node under reciprocating loading is analyzed.The bearing capacity,ductility coefficient and isohysteretic damping coefficient of the new joint are better than those of the traditional joint,and the hysteretic curve is fuller.Through mechanical analysis,considering the bending of bolt and the prying force at the end plate,the T-shaped part is simplified into a plane rigid frame model,and the bending moment value of bolt is obtained through deformation coordination.Through comparison and verification with the existing test data,it is found that the calculation method has a certain accuracy.Referring to the mechanical model of plane rigid frame,a process design method of outreaching endplate is designed,and the design process is verified with the calculation example of new node.The process design method is basically consistent with the results of finite element analysis.
