With the acceleration of urbanization,urban public space environment is facing severe problems.As an important part of urban public space,block-style commercial complex plays an essential role to improve the quality of urban public space and promote regional economic development.Meanwhile,based on the functional application,block-style commercial complex design should also improve outdoor thermal comfort and upgrade solar radiation gain to reduce building energy consumption,adapting to the cold climate.However,due to variety of block-type commercial complex forms and complicated physical environments,it's difficult to formulate design strategies through traditional methods.The study choosess physiological equivalent temperature(PET),cooling and heating seasons solar radiation gain,and energy use intensity(EUI)as optimization objectives,integrating multi-objective optimization method to optimize block-style commercial complex form in cold zones.Firstly,the paper analyzes theries on outdoor thermal comfort and development of block-style commercial complex,summarizes the difficulties in current design.Then,to solve the difficulties,study builds the multi-objective-optimization model.According to the survey on study field,study selects optimization parameters.Secondly,constructs the multi-objective optimization model,which consists of three modules: block-style commercial complex modeling module,optimization objectives calculation module and multiobjective optimization module.Finally,a block-type commercial complex is used as an example to verify the optimization model.Study chooses Rhinoceros and Grasshopper as modeling platforms,selects outdoor thermal comfort,cooling and heating seasons solar radiation gain and energy consumption as optimization objectives,chooses optimization parameters—shop bay,pedestrian street width,shop layout,building height,ascenter height,to optimize building form,and obtains non-dominated solutions.Through evaluates the quality of non-dominated solutions,the study obtains optimal solution.Based on the verification of multi-objective optimization,the study provides a method for block-style commercial complex form optimization.
