| Mountainous region takes up nearly two thirds of China’s territorial area. There are altogether 637,000 villages in China including 394,000 mountainous villages, accounting for around 62%.As the urban-rural integration process presses ahead, village construction projects in China have sprung up like mushrooms everywhere and villages in mountainous settings have also enjoyed substantial development. However,at the current stage, the construction of such villages usually focuses on relying on sites and people have serious misunderstanding on it.The reason is that the current planning mode partially and mechanically applies the design pattern of ground villages while ignoring the influence of natural factors on village planning. For the villages in mountainous settings, the natural factor affected by the deepest layer is the mountainous landform. Therefore, this thesis takes landform as the starting point and conducts theoretical research and planning practice on how to properly make use of landform in village construction and build a village living environment that is comfortable to live, ecologically natural, and in conformity with mountain features.Based on the design of engineering projects in reality, the thesis draws upon multi-discipline theories such as urban and rural planning, architecture, landscape, and rural settlement geography, and adopts a variety of research methods in studying the strategies for coping with landforms in village planning.Firstly, the thesis sorts out relevant theories on rural settlement.Through judging and weighing, the thesis selects the four theories of Ekistics and its extended theories, rural settlement geography, adaptability theory, and organic update theory as the basis of the theoretical framework for the research.Through summary and conclusion, the thesis analyzes the features of mountainous landforms and the characteristics of villages under its influence. Moreover, targeting the problems in the existing construction, the thesis takes the construction principles for mountainous human settlement environment and principles for coping with the mountainous landform as the basis to build village planning concepts in line with mountainous landform and meeting construction demand.Secondly, based on the above-mentioned construction planning concept, the thesis builds planning strategies appropriate for the mountainous landform from five aspects.Firstly,in terms of integrated planning layout,we should protect and cultivate natural patterns and select appropriate patterns for planning rural structures.Secondly,as for road and transportation organization,we should design road transportation in conformity withlandform features to satisfy village function layout, retain alley features, and rationally plan for the static transportation system.Thirdly, regarding water body organizational means,we should select river system network types in conformity with the rural landform characteristics and build water body forms and pro-water environment space.Fourthly, with regard to the construction and creation means,we should select architecture layout means in line with the mountainous features and the building of architecture forms should reflect regional features.Fifthly concerning landscape style building,we should make use of landforms to enrich green landscape and conduct landscape design on the engineering structures.Lastly, the author applies the above research outcome on planning strategies to the integrated pastoral complex design and construction project at Baodian Village,Luohe Town,Lujiang County,Anhui Province, conducts practical operation in real projects, and verifies the feasibility of theories.Figure [99] table [23] reference [62]... |
