With the development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,commercial complex is being built and developed at a high speed,which is becoming more and more common in People's Daily life.Hot and humid areas have a long summer time and strong solar radiation,humid and rainy climate.In order to resist high temperature,most commercial complexes are designed with fully enclosed air-conditioned buildings.This phenomenon,which generally separates the indoor and outdoor environment completely,makes the thermal comfort of the buildings not satisfactory.The excessive temperature difference between inside and outside and long-term in constant temperature and humidity in the air conditioning environment also bring many hidden dangers to people's health.In view of the above problems,the study carried out field measurement in two commercial complexes in Guangzhou,China from September 2019 to January 2020.The measurement mainly compared the thermal comfort of the subjects in the process of entering and leaving the building under the two conditions of entrance with and without transition space.And the thermal comfort of the subjects sitting in the entrance transition space.The results show that when there is transition space at the entrance of the commercial complex,the subjects have better thermal comfort experience in the process of entering and leaving the building,the existence of transition space can play a certain buffer effect on temperature mutation,and shorten the time to reach the steady state.In addition,the human body can adapt to the thermal environment through physiological and psychological adjustment.In different seasons,subjects have different acceptable temperature ranges in the naturally ventilated transition space.The upper acceptable temperature limit in summer is higher than that in autumn and winter.Based on the positive effect of the transition space at the entrance of commercial complex on improving the thermal comfort of human body,this paper conducts a case study and analysis on the basic form of the transition space at the entrance,and obtains the transition space shape of the entrance which is more suitable for the climatic characteristics of hot and humid areas.Then the thermal environment simulation software Envi-met was used to simulate the entrance transition space of this type in summer and observe the influence of the change of transition space scale on the thermal environment.Find out the comfortable time range of typical day in entrance transition space in summer according to the measured comfort temperature interval.Finally,according to the simulation results,some design suggestions are put forward for the entrance transition space in hot and humid areas.This study is of great significance for improving the thermal environment of commercial complex,protecting people's health and realizing sustainable design.
